The Kimpton Palladian Hotel Project involves the conversion of one of Seattle’s historic turn of the century buildings from low income housing into a 4 star 97 Room Boutique Hotel & Restaurant. The 9 story masonry structure built in 1910 received a complete seismic upgrade, new mechanical and electrical systems, restored terra-cotta, and new storefronts and glazing systems. The project also re-used existing stone, masonry and woodwork within the interiors of the lobby and restaurant in order to maintain a connection to the buildings past.
